GOLD EXPORT.
A LARGE INCREASE,
£Per, Press Association^ Wellington, last night. The quantity and value of gold exported from different ports of the colony for the month of Juno was as follows : Auckland, 28,5100 z, value £98,459 ; Nelson, 36740 z, £14,696 ; Westport, lOlOoz, -£4040 ; Greymouth, 33750 z, £13,499 ; Hokitika, 43430 z, £17,376; Dunedin, 2t,5900z, £86,472 ; Invercargill, 15730 z, *£6292 ; total, 64,0750 z, valued at ‘£240,834. For the half year tho export of gold shows an 'increuse of £87,376 in value Over that for the first six months of 1902.
