At a meeting of the Auckland Eailway Leugue, it was decided that Parliament be urged to vote this session £350,000 to the North Island Main Trunk line, and a sum for the North Auckland line equal to that voted for the Otago Central. During four weeks ended June 20 the Waihi Goldmining Company treated 17,944 tons of ore for bullion valued at £51,336.
