Moat of our dyspepsia is due to tho custom of baking instead of roasting meats. We talk glibly of “roast beef,” “roast chicken,” and so on ; but what we should say is “ baked beef ” and “ baked chicken.” We ought to go back to the genuine roasting process of our ancestors, and our health would improve, and there would be less talk about vegetarianism.—Beeord Philadelphia,
