MIDLAND RAILWAY.

A cablegram has reached tho colony, authorising the official receiver of tho Midland Railway Company to accopt payment on behalf of tho bondholders of tho Company of tbo amount agreed upon by the Government (£150,000) in bends. Payment will bo made in a day or two, and this will close tho negotiations between the company and tho Government.
