J Napier, last eight. It is understood that, a petition has boon "forwarded to the Ministor for Lands, asking him to acquire tho Clivo Grange estate and rho Petane Grange property under tho Lands for Settlement Act; Both properties are close to town, and are eminently (jolted for close settlement purposes.
