A PRETTY WEDDING

(Special to tie Times.) Hamilton, last night. One of the .prettiest weddings held in . the district for some time was solemnised , yesterday in the church of St. Stephen’s, ! Tamahere, the Ven. Archdeacon Wills officiating. The contracting parties vrere Mr Thomas J. H. Gaudin, of Silverdale, Hamilton, brother of Mr W. Gaudin, of Gisborne, to Miss Eva Broome, of Tamahere. The church was nicely decorated for the occasion by the girl friends of the bride, and was crowded with friends and well-wishers. The service was fully choral. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr J. H. Broome, looked exceedingly pretty in ivory velvet, with very handsome collar of silk and pointed lace, the bodice being trimmed with silk embroidery and orange spray. She wore the customary bridal blossoms, aud carried a handsome bouquet. Miss Kronfelu, of Auckland, attended as bridesmaid, and was daintily dressed in cream figured silk, with pretty white hat. The bridegroom’s gift to the bridesmaid was a neat gold brooch set with pearls and rubies. Messrs F. E. N. Gaudin and It. H. McCallum accompanied the bridegroom as groomsmen. The wedding presents numbered considerably over a hundred, and plainly manifested the popularity enjoyed by the young j couple. Mr and Mrs Thos.
