The River Hunter arrivod in the Bay from Sydney yestorday aftornoon with a cargo ot timber for tho railway bridgos. Bh-i will be berthed at tho wharf to-day. I'ho ketch Sir Henry arrivod from Auckland yesterday morning with a cargo of-coal.
The scow Ngaru arrived from Wellington yesterday morning. Her cargo consists of 20,000 foot of iron-bark timbor for tho Kaitaratahi bridgo and ono railway carriago. Tho Ngaru loft Kaipara on May 13th, and when about 100 miles out met with a very heavy gale, which rosultod in the foremast boing carriod away. Thoy rigged the ship temporarily and wont on to Wellington, wnore the vessel had to wait three weeks until anothor mast arrived from Auckland. Bho left Wellington again last Friday, and had a good run until she mot with a strong gale and was obliged to run back to Cupo Palliser.
