Walker has resigned from the Cabinet on account of ill-healtu. The portfolios of Education and Immigration will be taken over by Mr Seddon, who to-night 3tated that he would like to see Mr Walker Speaker, of the Legislative Council.

Colonel Pitt has been called to tbs Cabinet as Attorney-General.
