HUIA TEAM WALK OFF THE FIELD.

Tho junior match between Huia and West End on No. 2 ground at Victoria Domain on Saturday ended in a fiasco. After about 20 minutes’ play had proceeded, the Huia captain, F. Basbable, olectcd to take a scrum instead of a throwout from touch. The referee, Mr \V. Howard, refused to allow the Huia captain the option of a scrum, and a discussion on tho subject between the pair led to the referee ordering Bastable off tbe field. After some hesitation the remainder of the Huia team followed their captain, and the game consequently wont to West End by dofault. No points had beon scored by either side. The matter, wo understand, will come before the Rugby Union this evening.
