Messrs Williams and Kettle report having held their stock sale at the Matawhero yards yesterday, when in face of threatening weather thero was a very large attendance of buyers. As advertised there was a large yarding of stook of splendid quality and condition, for which there was keen competition, and practically every line found a purchaser under the hammer at most satisfactory prioes. We yarded 6033 sheep, of which 5518 were sold, and 200 head of cattle, all of which were disposed of, excepting four aged cows.
