Tho Taluno sailod for Auckland at 9.30 yesterday morning with tho following outward passengers : Mrs Gray-Dixon, Messrs Itamson, Hewitt, Chainoy, and Rev. GravDixon.
The s.s, Herald (Capt. Chrisp) left for South last evening at 5.80 o’clock. The schooner Aotea (Capt. J. Skinnor) left Auckland at 4 p.m. on Juno Ist, and arrivod at Te Kaha on tho 3rd, landing about 80 tons of cargo at Bay of Plenty ports the same day. Hick's Bay and Te Araroa were worked on tho sth, and she roundoa tho East Capo tho samo night. On account of the heavy sea on the East Coast and a eouthor coming up, thoy ran back to To Araroa. On Monday, Bth, they arrived at Port Awanui, but could not discharge until Tuesday, after which they came on to Tuparoa and landed most of tho cargo for that port. They were unablo to comploto discharging and loading at Tuparoa and Waipiro until Saturday owing to tho heavy soa. Tokomaru was worked on Sunday, leaving tho same night for Tolago Bay, where they arrived on Monday morning, but had to lio to all that day and Tuesday until tho soa wont down, and onablod them to work. The weather was too bad to work Waihau and Pakarao. She was borthed at tho wharf early yesterday morning. The cargo for this port consisted of 60 bales wool, 10 tons iron ruils, 200 cases bottles, 15 tons furniture, 10 tons coal, 10 tons sugar, 3000 ft timber, and 80 tons general cargo for various consignees.
The Now Zealand and African Co.’s s.s. Cornwall will leavo Lyttolton on or about Friday night, and comes on to Napier and Gisborne to loud produce for South African ports. It is not definitely decidod whother sho loads at Napier or Gidborne first. Messrs Williams and Kettle are the local agents.
The Union Company's Waikare arrivod from Auckland and Sydney yesterday afternoon, and left for Southern ports last ovening. Wellington.—Arrived, at 7 p.m,, Forotrie, from Westport. Napier. —To sail, at 7 p.m., Fanny, for Gisborne.
Lyttelton.—Arrived in stream, at 5 p.m., Cornwall, from Bluff.
