AUSTRALIAN NAVY. Adelaide, June 17. The second annual Conference of the Commonwealth Chambers of Commerce had before it a resolution favoring Die establishment of an Australian navy. It, was rejected by a large majority. Most of the speakers favored the Federal Government’s proposal to increase the subsidy.
