A meeting promoted by the National Citizens’ Reform League denounced the extravagance of the Federal Government, and protested against the creation of a High Court until i lie elections. Tiie meeting expressed strong views on the Government proposals at the forthcoming elections. FEDERAL Hi (ill COURT. The Council of the Law Institute holding the view that the Commonwealth had power to invest Stale Courts with Federal jurisdiction has passed a motion in favor of the creation of a High Court.
