Tho latter Council hus now decided to ro quest the Minister of Jnstico to rolease them from thoir responsibility. They pointed out that if tho Council controlled tho financial part of the Licensing Committeo business, tho elections could be carriod oub for £6O or .£7O, instead of about £l5O as at present.
