FIRE IN WELLINGTON.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. The Australian Widows’ Fund Building, of three storeys, situate on Custom House Quay, opposite the Bank of New Zealand, was totally destroyed by fire tonight. Among its tenants were Messrs McKee 3r.d Gamble, the well-unown firm of printers. The Wellington Y.M.C.A. also had its quarters on the premises. Nothing was saved. The insurances are not known. The loss will be large.
