CAPETOWN, .June 8
Frank Goddard was sentenced to twelve years’ hard labor at Johannesburg, for waylaying and robbing a Customs officer, an account of which was cabled on the 7th March, and an accomplice of Goddard's was sentenced to ten years for throwing pepper in the eyes of tho officer.
