MUNICIPAL AFFAIRS.
£Per Prew Association^ New Plymouth, last night. The Borough Council last night agreed to recognise under their by-laws certificates issued by the Education Board to plumbers who pass examinations on a syllabus similar to that of the Wellington Technical School. The Board have established classes in theoretical and practical work. The Mayor’s honorarium has been raised from £SO to £IOO.
