SYDNEY, June 9, The Broken Hill Chamber of Commerce 4s prepared to find two oi the five thousand pounds required for Dr McCarthy's rain-making syndicate to produce three inches of rain in three days. They asked the Government to subsidise the balance. Dr McCarthy’s terms are no rain, no pay. The Premier is sceptical on the subject, and declined.
