WAR MEMORIAL.
Ter Press Association. Hokitika, last night. The Westland War and Coronation Memorial watt unveiled by Mrs Scddon this afternoon in perfect weather. J.he Premier, General Habington and staff, the West Coast battalion of volunteers anti cadets and returned troopers were present. There was a record assemblage, including upwards ol three thousand travelling from the North. Tho Premier, the Mayor, Mr Guinness, member for Grey, and Hon. Mr Holmes, and General Babbingtoii delivered addresses, tlhe memorial was generally admired. It is a clock tower with chime bells. Mr Sodden stated he hoped to see similar mementos throughout tho colony.
