LORD AND LADY RANFURLY.

(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. The citizens’ presentation to Lady Ranfurly will bo made, if possible, prior to the departure of His Excellency and Lady Ranfurly to Wellington. Lady Ranfurly intimated that owing to the roles of the Colonial Office, she would be unable to accept any gift, but the Mayor cabled to Mr Chamberlain and obtained his sanction to the presentation being made.
