THE CHAIiGES AGAINST EAGLETON. (Per Press Association.) Napier, last night. Alexander Eagietou, tobacconist, was to day lined XI cacti on two charges of tote betting, and his assistant, 11. Fraser, was fined XI each on two similar charges. A further charge against Eagietou, of keeping a common gatningdiouse, was withdrawn by consent of the Commissioner of Police, defendant having ceased carry on a betting business.
