FEVER CASES.

Per Press Association. Uunedin, last night. Instructions were given last night to have the whole of the inmates of the Industrial .School transferred to Quarantine Island. The idea was to have tho Look-out Point institution converted temporarily into a fever hospital, but on visiting tho place Hr Valentine pronounced it wholly unsuitable, and tho idea was consequently abandoned. The boys at present on Quarantine Island, being convalescent, are to be sent buck to the Industrial Bchool.

The hospital stall absolutely deny the report that they were unwilling to continue operations while there wore fever inmates in the institution. As a matter of fact ono operation was conducted to day. Tfiero are three fever cases now in the hospital. All the patients were suffering from other ailments, and contracted scarlet fevor after admission to tho institution.
