At the half-yearly meeting of tiie Bank of New South Wales the net profits were shown to be £115,703, which with undivided balance from last year, gives £131,072 tor distribution of a dividend at the rate of 10 per cent., absorbing £IOO,OOO. Carried to reserve £15,000 carried forward £16,072. The President, in his address, paid an appreciative tribute to the Victorian Government for their attitude concerning the strike. Notwithstanding the effects of the drought, trade continues to be fairly successful, and augurs well when tho normal seasons return. The report was adopted.
