At tho banquet given in honor of tho Premier at the Grand Hotel, replying to tho toast “ Our Guest,” tho Premier said Now Zealand was wealthily endowed in regard to its capacity, scenery, land, and climate. Though at present it was a country with a small population, it possessed great possibilities, and only required development. Too little was known of New Zealand. If tiio looming populations of Europo and America wero acquainted with tho resources of this country they would flock to it in groater numbers. Rotorua would not bo able to hold a twentieth part of tho people who would come to sen it.
