While feeding a chafifeutter near Marton yesterday, Alfred Harper had his left arm'drawn under the knives. It was gradually cut off from the fingers to near the elbow. The sufferer was taken to the Wanganui hospital. Waihi, last night. A miner named Twoy, engaged on survey work in the Waihi Company’s mine, fell down a declivity of thirty feet, sustaining concussion of the spine and injuries to his shoulder and head. The. accident occurred at 2 o'clock this morning.
