RAGWORT.
'{Per Press Association^' Wellington, last night,
Mr Gilruth, Chief Veterinarian, says it is a mistake to say that experiments have proved that the ragwort is not deleterious to sheep. As a matter of fact, experiments have proved that it causes chronic inflammation of the liver, and the presence of the weed is a danger to stock. Farmers should take every means to eradicate it.
