AUCKLAND TROUBLE.
RICHARDSON’S ALLEGED LIBEL,
Per Press Association, ' Auckland, last night.
The trial of William Richardson on a charge of publishing two defamatory libels of William John Baker was continued today, but very slow progress was made. The evideneo of William John Bell was concluded, arid four othor wituosses called by accused wero examined. Theso witnesses included Inspector Cullon and Mr Moss Davis. As on the previous days, accused sought to obtain evideneo on matters which Judge Conolly said wero quito irrelevant, and many questions were disallowed. Tho Court was crowded with spectators.
