’ AUCKLAND, last night. Kaukapakapa electors have petitioned for the annulment, of the Kaipara Licensing Committee election, on tlie ground that- no polling booth was opened in their district. Mr Hutchison. S.M., gave judgment today, deciding in favor of the petitioners. There were forty-eight votes between the lowest successful candidate and the unsuccessful ones, and at. least fifty-eight electors were prevented from voting. This might have altered the state of the poll. Therefore the irregularity was such as defeated the fairness of the election. WAIPAWA, last night.
