WAR MEDALS.

Wellington, last night,
Captain .J. T. Marshall, oi Wellington, who served in tho Boer war as sergeant in l’.i-ahant’s llurse, recently wrote to the paymaster of the Imperial Discharge Depot at Capetown relative to the issue of youth African war medals to New Zealand members of tho irregular forces, lie has just received a reply that all New Zealanders who served in irregular corps should apply for their medals direct to tho Chief Ordnance Ollico at Woolwich.
