Tho Afrikander Bond Confcreuco has opened at Suinerseu East. Eigdty-thrce delegates, representing 53 branches, wero present. Mr T. P. Tnetou was ro elected president, and Mr N. Do Waal secretary. Mr Therou declared that tho members of the Bond, despite much injustice and illtreatment, retained uhogiunce, and were determined to abide the result of tho war, thereby heaping coais of firo on their adversaries’ head. He applauded Sir Gordon Sprigg’s action, ilo said that tho Bond welcomed settlors in South Africa, which was largo enough for all Englishmen.
