Tho 3.3. Herald finished working Tokomaru and ran back to 'l’olago yesterday morning,but it was still too rough to work. She therefore proceeded to Waipiro, and was discharging there yosterday. Sho works Tuparoa to-day. Tbe Huddart-Parker Co.’a s.s. Westralia arrived from Sydney and Auckland at 2 o’clock yesterday aftornoon, and proceeded South in tho ovening. Passengers : —lnward : Misses Quinn, Thompson, Scott, Power, and Holmes; Mesdamos Quinn, Innos, Glcoson ; Messrs Hani Pore, Tornple. Ferris, Quinn, Campbell, Burgess, Cox, Warnock, Salon, Gleeson, Nixon, Searl, Halford, Adams, and Dr, Pornaro. Williams.
Tho s.s. To Auau arrived this morning, and sails for Auckland at 7 a.m. Tho schooner Gisborno sails for Mercury liuy to-day, whore she loads timber ior Gisborno.

Waikaro arrives from South early, and leaves for Auckland and Sydney. First launch 6 a.m., last 10 a.m. Sunday, 3rd May.—Te Anau arrives from Auckland during tho afternoon, and leaves for South. First launch on arrival, last 5 p.m.
