FATAL ACCIDENTS.
CYCLIST’S SUDDEN DEATH

NEW PLYMOUTH, last, night. A man named P. George met with an accident, while riding to his workon a bicycle this morning. About two miles irom town, his companion (who was in front), hearing a thud, turned aud saw George on the ground. A doctor was summoned and the man removed by the Ambulance Brigade to a hospital. He was suffering from a fracture of the base of the skull. He did not regajn consciousness, and died at 8 this afternoon. Deceased was a traction engine driver, and had only one arm, having lost the. other in a shooting accident some years ago. He leaves a widow and young family. Another death occurred af the hospital early this morning, being that of a man named Newall, admitted las; week, suffering as the result of a mil of earth at a gravel-pit near El tiiam.

blame being attachable to anyone
