LATE COAST NEWS.

The Waipiro County electoral rolls and defaulters’ list will be open for inspection at the olliec of the council, Waipiro Bay, from the 27th of April to the 15th of May 1908. An important sale of stock will be held at Mr Macfarlane’.s Tukapau station today, and a largo number of settlers from all parts of tne district will be present. The sale will he conducted by Messrs A. E. Kennedy and J. \V. Bright. A mob of steers from tho Waipiro station passed through Gisborne on Tuesday lor Erimlcy station in Hawke’s Bay. Tho cattle are iu chargcof Mr D. McGuire and others. The Waipiro Council meet on Wednesday next. Mr W. Dobson, late of Tolago Bay, arrived from tho South yesterday on a short visit to the East Coast. ilic ltev. O. F’it/.gorald reached Waipiro on Saturday last, and held his first service in the Waipiro Church on Sunday, there being a largo congregation.
