Ladies and gentdicmek,— ill r.r:l Cite g V'JMV support at the forthcoming KKeiion, X submit tor your approval the following: Kirst in importance is water and drainage. i favor Wtublrtro and Mr Mostayers scheme. With regard to bridge:;, rather than tamper with or widen the Tarcheru bridge (winch will r< quire r, decking in a lew years), X am in favor 01 the treulion cf a bridge at the upper end of the town, in deal ng with the question of road metal I think a great sav ng could be effect; e 1 by riot only using river metal for side streets, but by lairing mein streets one block at a time, as funds will permit. This has proved successful in other towns where metal is le=s costly. As to the belter lighting of the Borough, X think the best and most economical way would be for ibe Council to purchase the present Gaswo'ks at a remunerative price. X will favor amalgamation with the suburbs, if shewn lo be for the general welfare thereby securing increased representation in icnilruiicnt. j.hes; are, X think, the most important questions of the present time, and if you do me the honor to elect me as one of your representatives, I will use my utmost endeavors to promote the welfare of the Borough as a whole. Your obedient servant, T. MORRISON.
