FARMER'S UNION PICNIC.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston, last night. The Farmers’ Union picnic, which was largely attended, was very successful. Etijog Stic references wi re made to the Dairy (..'ommisaiuuer. and the following resolution was proposed by Air J. S. Wilsou, President of tne Colonial Executive, and carried : *• That this meeting desires to express its great regret that the colony is losing the services of Mr J. A. Kinselia, Dairy Commissioner, and asks the Premier to tlike steps to retain h;s valuable services to New Zealand."’
