Osmund Jull, called by the piainlih, said that while lie was delivering milk, Air Hannan complained oi 'he liquid being spilled. Hr Hannan then made not her grab at the defendant, who then caught hold of h-.s leg and pushed. Doth Fell to the ground, Mr I-lamer on top, and witness removed the complainants hand from Mr Hamer’s neck. His Worship : This man is not irivevidence for the complainant.— (Laughter.) Mr Mahoney : He gave a different sta t ernent p revi ous 1 y." His Worship: I can'; convict on the evidence. It is a pity Mr Hannan did not recollect the old adage about spilt milk.
