SHIPPING.
Mr Sneddon's s.s. Balmain, 004 tons gross, 897 tons nett (Captain Troupe), arrived from Newcastle yesterday morning. Slio left Newcastle on April 10th, and experienced strong cast winds arid heavy seas until about a day’s steaming off tho Now Zealand coast. On Friday, the 17th, sho called at Whangarei for bunfter coal, loaving again on Saturday morning. Strong south-westerly winds wero met with down the coast, accompanied by heavy rain on Sunday. Her cargo for this port consists of 450 tons of coal.
The ketch Coronation will leuvo for Auckland to morrow.
The discharging operations of the schooner Aotoa are being proceeded with.

Auckland.— Arrived : 8.15 p.m., Ventura from Honolulu, with tho Frisco mail.
