Tho s.s. Taluno docks at Lyttelton next week on hor way to Melbourne—not at Wellington. Tho s.s. Waikaro left Sydney at 2 p.in, on Wednesday for Auckland. The s.s. Horald leaves Westport on Saturday with a load of coals for Gisborne. Sho calls at Wellington to fit out with surf boats, etc., preparatory to taking up tho East Coast Lay service, and should arrive horo next week.
Tho s.s. Mararoa to-night loaves Napier at 8, and arrives hero early to-uaor-row, leaving for Auckland at 10 a.m. Tho ketch Coronation, which arrived from Auckland on Wednesday overling, was berthed at tho wharf yesterday morning. Her cargo consists of 40,000 ft timber, 04 tons coal, consigned to different clients, and a quantity of corrugated iron. Tho Union Company’s s.s. Waihi left for Pakarao yesterday morning for a cargo of posts, and returned to port last evening.
The U.S.S. Cr.’s 8.3. Hawea does not call at this port. Sho loft Auckland for Napior direct. Tho sclioonor Wniapu leaves to-day for Napier, atul will load at that port a cargo of timber for Gisborne. .UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS,, Saturday 18th.—Mararoa arrives from South early, and loaves for Auckland.
