Ladies' Championship Singles : First round —Mms Gore beat Miss Ledger, 947—641 ; Miss Travers beat Mies Kennedy, 644-640; Miss Jackson beat Miss Wilson, 641—547 641 ; Mrs Payne beat Miss C. Williams, 643 745—642 ; Miss Rowdroll beat Miss A. Robinson, 640—640.
