The diamond-cutters have slru> k, in sympathy. Tite streets of Amsterdam were so crowded with roughs and idlers that, the police in dispersing them drew their sabres. One man had his barn's severed. The gendarmes and dragoons charged, and several pet sons were trampled upon. The authorities declare that the horses became frightened. A meeting of three thousand dockers at Rotterdam decided to join the railway strikers. BERNE, April 7. Two thousand live inn tiled masons at Basel have struck. They stoned the police who were protecting non-strikers. Troops were summoned.
