SHIPPING.
Messrs Huddart, Parkor and Co.’s s.s. Zoalandia left Napier last evening, and arrivod hero early this morning. She loaves for Auckland and Sydney at 10 a.m. The following passongers were booked up till late last ovening:—Misses Hooper, Connelly, Tucker, Mac Loan; Mesdames Hepburn, C. F. Cooper, Brierly and infont, Marshall, Tuckor, Fraser ; Messrs Dunlop, Cooper, Walker, Passmoro, Marquand, Thomas, Coleman, Bull, Mac Lean. The schoonor Waiapu leaves to day for Napier, and will load at that port a cargo of timber ior Messrs Dalgety and Co. The schooner Awanui leaves to-day for Auckland.
Tho Clyde, from Groymoutb, brought the following cargo for this port, consigned to Mr D. Jamison: 101 tons coal and 10,000 ft of red pine. She is expected to sail for Greymouth on Monday. Captain Mitchell states that it is his intention to make alternate trips to Lyttelton and Gisborno. The Union Co.’s s.s. Tarawera loaves Auckland at noon to-day, arriving here to-morrow, and leaves for South in tho evening.
Tho s.s. Weka left for Napier at 4.40 p.m. yesterday. Mosers Kennedy and Evans’ new steamer s.s. Karoro had a slight mishap yesterday, when an air vessel broke. Sho will be laid up until a new air vessel is procured from Auckland. Tho s.s. Karamea arrived in Auckland yesterday, at 3 p.m., from London. Tho s.s. Omapare was unable to load wool yesterday at Tuparoa, owing to tho hflavy easterly soa. Sho came on to Waipiro, and managed to land some of her cargo there during the afternoon. She works Tokomaru to-day. The Tyser steamer Morere is due here on Monday from Wanganui. She will load a largo cargo of frozen meat, tallow, wool, and preserved moat. Messrs Williams and Kettlo are tho loading agents. '
The Shaw-Savill steamer Kumara is due hero on April 6th and tho Athenic on the 22nd. The H.M.S. Lizard sailed from Port Chalmers at 11.30 a.m. yesterday for Gisborne. Sho should; arrive hero early on Monday. UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS,)
