THE REFORM BILL. MELBOURNE, March 25. The conference on the Reform Bill
arrived at a compromise. The Houses wilr be dissolved after passing tire Re-
form Bill and Redistribution of Seats Bill. It is estimated they will be in session about nine months. The numbers of members of the Council will
be 31, and of the Assembly US. There wili lie eight Ministers, two to sit in the Council. The Council franchise will be £lO annual rental of
freehold, and £ls leasehold.... The Council qualification for members will I.C £SO. In the event of a disagreement between the Houses, the Assembly will he dissolved. If j (he new House sends up the same measure, and there is again a disagreement, tiierc will be a double dissolution. Woman suffrage has been abandoned.
