The Union Company’s s.s. Taluno arrived from South yosterday morning, and loft for Auckland nc 9 a.m. Passengers : Inward : Misses Craighoad. Boston, Steele, Buchanan, Boss, Humphreys; Mesdames Sheridan, Wickstoed, Neild, Smith; Messrs Cunningham, Macfarlanc, Steele, Wepiha, Kei, Buchanan and son, Boston, Chadwick, Prittli, Bobinson, Hollow, Philps, Carr, Massoy, Neild, Kenway, Clark, Cooper, Ailsbery, Buscke, and 19 steerage. Outward : Misses Armstrong and Fostor ; Mrs Williams ; Messrs Dunn, Alennie, Graham, O’Neil, and Clark. The Union Company’s Omupore (Capt. Chrißp) arrived yestorday morning from South, bringing a cargo of coal from Westport. She loft for the Coast and Auckland last evening. Passengers for Coast: Miss lieston and Mrs Wicksteed.

Mossrs Huddart, Parker aud Co.’s s.s. Zealandia arrives from Auckland this afternoon, and loaves for South at 7 p.m. Mr W. 0. Skeet informs us that he received from Whitianga yesterday the following wire from Capt. Nicholas, of the schooner Awanui: “ Sailed direct for Gisborno with a cargo of timber for various consignees.” The brigantine Sir Henry arrived from Whangarei yestorday with a cargo of 140 tons of coal for the Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ Freezing Works.

UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS, Saturday, 21st—Mararoa arrives from South early, and leaves for Auckland and Sydney. First launch 6 a.m., last 10 a.m. ■Sunday, 22nd.—Talune arrives from Auckland during the afternoon, and leaves for South. First latinch on arrival, last 5 p.m.
