Mr Charles McArthur, member of tbo Exchange Division of Liverpool, moves in the House of Commons that recent developments in the fiscal and commercial policy of foreign countries ousting British trade demand the serious consideration of tho Government in concert with the Colonial Governments whero necessary with a viow to safe guarding tho trade of the Empire. Mr J. F. Hope, membor for Brightside Division, of Sneffield, will move an amendment to omit the words “ sorious consideration,” and insert in their place tho words “ retaliatory action.”
