JAPANESE WARSHIPS
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received 1.2 a.ui., March 18. Bydney, March 17. Advice has been received that three of the largest warships of the Japanese navy, the Matsuhima (bearing the flag of RearAdmiral Keminaira), and the cruisers Uskushima and Hashidate are en route for Australia and New Zealand. The cruisers are scheduled to reach Hobart on May 6th. Thence they proceed to Auckland, arriving on May 18th, advantage being taken of the long cruise to train a large number of midshipmen.
