AN ARMY SCANDAL

Berlin. March 15.
At Potsdam a Uhlan, aged 20, lor some offence, was held upon a table by tho noncommissioned officers, beaten with sticks, and taken to the hospital, where he was released. He committed suicide, fearing further ill-treatment. Hie assailants have been attested.
