SALVATION HARVEST FESTIVAL.
The Salvation Army Harvest Festival was duly opened by His Worship the Mayor on Saturday afternoon, and a brisk business was done by the various stallholders during the afternoon. Major and Mrs Spargo conducted the services at the Army yesterday, and the subjects were effectively dealt with by the Major and his wife, both of whom are able speakers and singers. To-night the services are continued, also to-morrow and Wednesday nights, the delayed steamer forcing the Major to stay an extra night. A musical meeting is announced for Wednesday night,
