THE TEAM FOR TOLAGO.

In order to give the representative eleven who proceed to Tolago Bay to meet an East Coast combination on Monday next an opportunity to play together, and thoroughly organise their team for the trip, it has been decided to pit an eleven against them on Victoria Domain tomorrow afternoon. The following players will represent the home eleven Crawford, Raymond, W. Gibson, F. Sharp, Lang, Hodge, McCredie, Hill, Iveson, C. Priestly, and W. Andrews. Emergencies: Witty, Poananga, Waitai. Of the team originally selected to go to Tolago, F. Sharp and Raymond have intimated their inability to make the trip. H. Sharp will take his brother’s place, and Eretschmar and W. Howard will also,be available ;so a good eleven should leave on Sunday to meet the Coast men. The local team is a good one, and Gisborne men have always found the Tolago players hard to beat on their own ground ; but the present combination from these parts is a good side, and in all departments should show up well.

The team for Tolago will be :—Plimmer, J. Gibson, Dodd, Porter, Hood, Barton, H- Sharp, Barlow, Macdonald, F. Smith, and the other place will be filled from Hawkins, Eretschmar, Baker, Gouldsmith (2), or W. Howard, all of whom will be available if required.

A Grand Assortment of Gent’s Ties in the Latest Styles, direct from the manufacturer. Best value in Gisborne.,—o. ROSIE AND 00.
