CRICKET.
RANJI’S OPINION
By Tolograph-—Press Association—Copyrigh London, Feb, 2D,
Jtanjitsinhji strongly disapproves of widening tho wickets of cricket. Ho eulogises Australian methods of bowling on truo pitches, teaching us that something more than mere length is requisite to obtain wickets on good, dry, hard pitches. The unroliableness of the English climate is opposed to tho change, which moreover, would bo only tinkering with tbo laws of tho game.
