Sir Joseph Ward was welcomed by Mr Drake and a representative of Sir E. Barton. In tho course of an interview, ho said that no doubt tho recont press criticism in London afl’oeted tho Now Zealand loan prejudicially, but ho does not think the unoasiness of tho money market will last long. There was nothing to justify the condition now prevailing.
